We investigate, observe, document and analyze construction conditions and claims to determine how they might impact our clients. Many times we provide first hand observation of testing being performed by other parties. While we will do our own testing on a limited basis, the majority of the site observations that we do are tests being performed by companies that specialize in that field of work.
We compare the observed information to project standards and codes to determine if the work in question complies with the contract documents and/or customary practices.
It is not unusual for the most obvious explanation of a problem not to be the correct answer. Often, in-depth probing is the only way to accurately determine what is causing the problems that are being addressed.
